MyInvois e-invoicing software for Malaysian businesses

Raise the invoice, file it, and it goes to LHDN. The validation comes back onto the same record and the QR code prints on the PDF. No export, no separate portal, no second set of numbers to reconcile.

Submitted from the invoice you already raised

There is no export step and nothing to re-key. Marking an invoice as filed submits it to LHDN, and the returned identifier, validation link and validated timestamp are stored on that invoice. The document you send your customer and the document the tax authority holds are the same one.

MyInvois v1.1 digital signing

Submissions are signed with your certificate following LHDN’s JSON signing profile — the document digest, the RSA signature, and the signed properties carrying the signing time and certificate. Your certificate stays in your own account.

Credit notes, not just invoices

A credit note is submitted with its own document type code and references the invoice it adjusts, so the adjustment is traceable on LHDN’s side rather than being a note in your records.

Consolidated e-invoices for consumer sales

Where individual e-invoices are not required for consumer sales, a month can be submitted as one consolidated e-invoice. A sale already sent individually is excluded automatically, so nothing is ever reported twice.

SST handled per line

Sales tax and service tax are both supported, recorded per line so the submission carries the correct tax type. The Malaysian tax profile ships configured, and the buyer’s TIN and business registration number are validated before you submit.

Every exchange is logged

Each step is recorded with the request, the response and LHDN’s own message. When a submission is rejected you can see which field caused it instead of guessing — and statuses are polled automatically, so a document that validates later updates itself.

It is the rest of your business too

E-invoicing on its own still leaves you running quotes, orders, stock and payments somewhere else. InvoToday is the operational system as well — quotations through to invoices, purchase orders through to vendor bills, inventory across warehouses, payments and reconciliation, an AI assistant, and a link to your accounting software. MyInvois, answered

What is MyInvois?

MyInvois is the e-invoicing system run by Malaysia’s Inland Revenue Board (LHDN). Rather than a document you simply print and send, the invoice is submitted to LHDN, validated, and returned with a unique identifier and a QR code anyone can use to confirm it is genuine. Check current LHDN guidance for the timetable that applies to a business your size.

Do I need separate software to submit e-invoices?

No. The invoice you raise is the invoice that goes to LHDN. Filing it submits it, and the validation result lands on the same record — there is no export, no portal to re-key into, and no second system to reconcile against.

Does it handle credit notes and consolidated B2C e-invoices?

Yes. Credit notes go with the correct document type code and reference the invoice they adjust. For consumer sales where individual e-invoices are not required, a month can go as one consolidated e-invoice, and a sale already submitted individually is never included twice.

What appears on the printed invoice?

The QR code, the LHDN validation link, and the validated date and time, so your customer can check it themselves. Malaysian layouts also carry the seller and buyer TIN and business registration number.

Does it support SST?

Yes — sales tax and service tax both, with the tax type recorded per line so the submission carries the right code. The Malaysian tax profile is configured out of the box.

What happens if a submission is rejected?

The document stays in your hands rather than silently failing. Every step of the exchange is logged with the request, the response and the LHDN message, so you can see exactly which field was rejected, fix it, and submit again.

InvoToday is invoicing software, not tax advice. Confirm what applies to your business with LHDN or your tax agent.
